Ruth is a therapist that brings a warm smile , a caring energy , a focused approach and a keen ability to verbalize what the root of your pain is. No fluff, no going in circles , she sees clearly, she shares it (we even laugh about it at times), she checks in with questions and the work begins! In the time I have seen Ruth, I notice how the pain that I’ve held for years somehow knows to come up and leave my body while we work together. I’ve referred to our work as “emotional surgery”! Physiologically, I feel my body let go of the pain by sensations that occur, and that’s how I know much is happening. Yes, lots of my childhood stories wrapped in pain surface during our sessions, but I say yes to feeling it all. I believe it’s because I feel safe with her, I trust her, and I sense that she cares about my healing. That’s why I keep working so hard, because she walks alongside me, and she believes in me. Rather than just listen to me talk, Ruth uses tapping (EFT) to help move the energy out of the mind and body. The tapping is a powerful technique that helps release stuck energy, and Ruth intuitively knows how to guide, check in, and target my pain. Ruth is also very knowledgeable and informative about resources that can support my healing in between sessions, which I like. She either tells me about a book, or a great person to follow, or a video to watch, but it all is helpful. The work and healing continues after we are done with our session. What can I say, I am in much gratitude for this therapist with such a big heart for the work she does. There aren’t many of these therapists out there, that I know! Ruth’s genuine care goes a long way in our sessions, and as I make progress in my own world, I reflect on how I was able to move along. My work with Ruth... I reflect on how the little shifts of inner peace and flow are here, how I feel less fear, less upset, less being stuck. Little by little I’m living again, the way I’ve hoped to live for years. Healing is possible. Thank you Ruth, I couldn’t have done this alone. I needed someone to sit with me and unpack years of my stuff, and you have happily and patiently come alongside me on my journey of growth. Gratitude for you always ... Claudia
