Dr. Mirza is an excellent physician with impressive expertise in ADHD and related psychiatric and neurological subjects. His open-minded approach to treatment aligns perfectly with the variety of ways in which this disorder can manifest, particularly in adults. His sensitivity and engagement during treatment is immediately apparent and very effective. I highly recommend his services.
We would like to sincerely thank Dr Mirza for the dedicated care and support he has provided for our autistic son over the past two years. The doctor thoroughly collected all the necessary information, conducted tests, made accurate diagnoses and initiated the appropriate treatment. This has led to significant improvements in our son's behaviour and has greatly enhanced his overall quality of life, as well as that of our entire family.
We were looking for an ADHD specialist who has really strong knowledge in the field and are so happy we were recommended to Dr Mirza. Dr Mirza has been working for decades with people with ADHD and we found him deeply knowledgable. His support has made all the difference to our young adult whose life is hugely improved since diagnosis and meds. Dr Mirza was also easy to speak to, approachable, and a good listener. We would 100% recommend this clinic.
Dr. Mirza has truly changed my life. I’m incredibly thankful for his support, guidance, and deep compassion throughout my journey. He listened carefully, explained everything with clarity, and always made me feel like an active part of the process. His thoughtful recommendations and careful insight helped me make meaningful, lasting changes in my life. I’ve made more progress with Dr. Mirza than I ever thought possible, and I’m so grateful for the transformation I’ve experienced under his care.
Dr Mirza is thorough in his clinical diagnostics and treatment. He never rushes. He has patient care and accounts for all factors affecting symptoms. He has written detailed reports and letters for disability related issues, which have been extremely helpful. I would strongly recommend him to any individual.
Dr Mirza is not only a lovely therapist, but a lovely man, he really works to understand you and make you feel seen for all that you are good for not just what you struggle with! He has honestly helped me to change my life, and all his work is done with great care, truly grateful, thank you :)
I would gladly recommend Dr Mirza to any one seeking a professional, empathetic clinician who has a huge wealth of knowledge and experience within his field. He is caring and listens well and helps achieve the perfect outcome for his patients. I am incredibly grateful to have had him from the very beginning of my diagnosis journey.
Simply put, Dr Mirza has changed my life. We have worked together for nearly a year and in that time his attention to detail and understanding of the changes you go through and needs are second to none are incredible. The consultations at the beginning are thorough and broken down into different areas of your life that help him understand you better in order for a diagnosis and relevant treatment plan. Furthermore he helps you understand yourself better and how to put the work in alongside any medication prescribed. Highly recommended
I am a doctor myself, and after misdiagnoses and wrong meds for many years, when I was advised by a therapist with extensive experience of ADHD that she was convinced I had it, I did not rush to seek a diagnosis. I wanted to find the right person - someone with real expertise, whom I could trust. A year later, I worked with Dr Mirza's team in the course of my NHS training, although I did not work with him directly, as he was on a period of leave. He is held in very high esteem by colleagues. After completing the placement I approached him, and underwent the assessment process via his private practice. It was rigorous and comprehensive, Dr Mirza spoke with me, took a collateral history from my sister, I submitted questionnaires. I was diagnosed with combined-type ADHD at the age of 51. The effect of living with this undiagnosed condition all my life has been profound. Many people of my generation - women particularly - have had lifelong struggles, since awareness of neurodivergent conditions was poor when we were young. The consequences of this are a lifetime of wondering 'what is wrong with me?', low self-esteem, frustration at the emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression that accompanies undiagnosed ADHD, and with huge effort all the time to compensate for deficits in executive function, time management and battling with emotional lability. I am completely confident I now have the answer to that question. The correct diagnosis has been a game-changer. It means I can be kinder to myself, and understand myself much better. Starting on treatment made life far more manageable from the beginning, and over a few months my dose has been titrated to one that makes my symptoms far more manageable. My gratitude to Dr Mirza after the years of personal difficulties can't really be put into words. His experience speaks for itself, but what is also impressive is that he is a warm, compassionate and conscientious individual. He has dedicated his professional life to improving the lives of others - children and adults - by becoming an expert in these poorly-understood conditions, and helping people get the life-changing help they need. Since my own experience with Dr Mirza, I have recommended him to friends and colleagues, mostly others within the medical profession seeking assessment for family members. I would not make this recommendation lightly. He has also helped a member of my own family who had a severe breakdown in their mental health. After dealing with the acute problem, Dr Mirza also assessed this family member and identified the neurodivergent condition that underpinned the recurrent illness. Given the increasing awareness of neurodivergent conditions, it can be difficult to know where to go for assessment - there are a lot of private purveyors offering this, and it's hard to know whom one can trust. Dr Mirza's extensive experience in the NHS, and overseas, the care he takes over assessment, and his comprehensive and up to date knowledge of therapeutic approaches - both drugs and talking therapies - mean you are in completely safe hands. He's also a wonderful, kind man, who is genuinely interested in helping his patients - both young and older - to get to live their best lives, to understand themselves, and to appreciate their gifts and strengths. I could not recommend him more highly. Thank you Dr Mirza.
Dr Mirza was referred to me by a friend who’s received treatment from him over the past several years, and having experienced the care received from him I understand why he came so highly recommended. He has been amazing in getting my life back on track. I approached him 5 months ago and within that time he understood my situation, was incredibly empathetic and began treatment very promptly, monitored closely and had me stabilised and referred back to my GP for continued care. His understanding of the condition and help has been phenomenal and I’m grateful for all his help.
