Chris Worfolk is extremely knowledgeable in OCD and made me feel very comfortable and the sessions really did help. I cannot thank him enough and I recommend the practice to anyone who feels like they need help.
Presumably if you're reading this then things are not going that great. From day one Chris Osborne worked with me not as a mate but as a professional therapist with the aim of relieving distress. Over the last few months a bit at a time things have got better and a lot of credit goes to Chris for guiding me through.
I had been struggling with anxiety for years and never realised how badly it was affecting me till earlier this year. After going through some of my darkest days with it, experiencing anxiety attacks and not feeling like "me" anymore, I knew it was time for change. I read about Leeds Anxiety Clinic online and decided to book a session with Chris. I wasn't really sure what to expect to get from the experience, but after having weekly sessions with Chris for three months, everything changed drastically for the better. Learning about how and why anxiety works in the way it does, and better yet, learning how to live with it and how not to be affected by it as much during every day life has been truly remarkable. I've gone from being at my lowest ebb and not really seeing a way out, to feeling great and optimistic for the future again, and Chris played a huge part in that. It really helps that Chris is legit a great person who's not only easy to get on with, but also extremely knowledgeable. If anyone out there is reading this and is wanting to speak to a professional about anxiety, Chris is your guy. What I've learnt with him has changed my life. I can't recommend him enough - Thank you, Chris!
I have been suffering with OCD since I was about 6 I am 56 now. I have seen countless people and counsellor's for help to try and feel better but nothing really worked. Last year I was at my lowest eb and my wife researched help for OCD and came across Chris Osborne. I didnt want to go to another counsellor as I have been let down and dissapointed with other so called professionals who knew absolutely nothing. As I have suffered for 50 years I have seen lots of specialists or so they say they are but I could tell within the first hour of speaking to them they would be no help. Last year I was at the end of my tether so I went to see Chris and I can not thank this man enough for what he has done for me. I am not exaggerating when i say if it wasn't for Chris I may not be here right now. He has given me my life back which I didnt think after all this time was possible. He is the most knowledgeable man I have ever met as regards to OCD and I can tell he really wants to help it's not just a job to him. Chris understands and I can't thank or recommend him enough he is an absolutley amazing man . I just wish I had met him years ago. He has helped me more than I could ever of imagined even writing this review doesn't do the man justice. He saved me from a really bad point in my life and gave me the tools to not to go back there or let it happen again and if anyone who reads this and feels like theres no light at end of the tunnel please call Chris and see for yourself. What do you have to lose? You can get better! Thank you so much Chris Osborne you changed my life around and I would like thank my wife Joe who found him. S Brook.
Chris is a fantastic therapist and helped me so much to understand and deal with my OCD, I would seriously recommend Chris to anyone who is struggling with their anxiety/OCD and feels they have tried every possible thing! Life-changing!
Working with Chris has been life changing! Feel grateful to have found a therapist who is passionate and specialised because I’ve been lucky enough to learn a lot of skills which have change my quality of life drastically within 8 or 9 months :)
I've been working with Chris for almost 4 years (with gaps between) and the work we've been doing is absolutely great. You will never get a "template" work plan - everything is customised and personalised based on your situation, needs and also personality. It's really hard to find a therapist with the working quality of Chris. I've recommended Chris to several friends and family and I am really glad to see they have same opinion as mine. Keep doing the great work and improving people's lives :)
I found Chris' sessions to be very helpful. The techniques he gave for managing my anxiety were easy to understand and to put in practice, and even led to me developing some new ways of thinking of my own.
This service has been fantastic for me. They treat you as an intelligent person, never talking down to you and tailoring their clinical approach to what is working for you. They are always led by the evidence of what works, and never stray into more "wishy washy" comments and recommendations that I have occasionally experienced with other similar services. They clearly know their field very well, whilst not being shy with admitting their limitations if the therapy moves into other areas. I have literally had my partner say "I look forward to you going to sessions there. You seem to come back a different person, much happier!" I have noticed significant improvements over the course of my therapy and unreservedly recommend to anyone seeking a no-nonsense, down to earth and scientific approach to therapy.
Chris's work with my son was fantastic. From being a very stressed and panicked individual to being able to manage and understand was happening was an incredible change. Chris helped us through some dark days. I couldn't recommend him enough to repay what he did for us
