Absolutely awful experience. I paid £180 for a 2-hour massage and only received about 30 minutes. She arrived late because she was eating, then acted rude and unprofessional the entire time. She kept pretending she didn’t understand what I was saying at the end of the massage during my complaining when during the start she understood perfectly fine, and the massage itself was terrible — it genuinely felt like she didn’t know what she was doing. She also moved my gold necklace without asking, I left it on top of my clothes and when I got up off of the bed in was on the opposite side of the room. The whole place was unpleasant — it smelled bad and was very loud, so there was no chance of relaxing. When I asked for a refund for the time I didn’t receive, she said she “didn’t know how” to refund me, which is unacceptable. Overall, this was a complete waste of money. Poor service, unprofessional behaviour, and nowhere near what was paid for. Avoid.
Horrendous!! I had a massage booked for Saturday 10th July and I called 2 days before to check the time as I’d forgotten and not had a confirmation. And they said “oh I’m sorry I’m gonna have to reschedule for Monday” ??!! What??!! I called you?? I would’ve turned up to this appointment with no one working? Appalling 🤬
Excellent Deep Tissue massage by Ray. I felt so relaxed afterwards and she was really helpful with the whole process, making sure I was comfortable with the massage! ✨
So I arrived and didn’t realise it was the upstairs of a supermarket so it was hard to locate at first and this was not detailed on their website, I was a little early so I waited for 20 minutes, during this time there were 3 unsupervised young children wandering, shouting and playing. Not the kind of vibe you want when you’ve booked a relaxing massage! Eventually the lady came to get me and the massage itself itself was relaxing but I’d booked an aromatherapy massage and no scented oils were used, I was put in a few odd positions and wasn’t really explained what was happening. You could hear the children shouting and running around during the massage which made me feel the opposite of relaxed. It might have just been a bad day, I know every business has them but this was quite a bad first impression and I don’t intend to go back. Really subpar experience.
I've been to Charm twice now and really enjoyed both visits. I think it's not a place to go if you are new to Thai massage. The therapist is very strong and doesn't shy away from putting pressure on problem areas. This can cause pain/discomfort but if you are experienced then you know this is normal. If it's too much, say and they will stop. I think it's great value for money given over the road at Nuad Thai Boran you pay £20 more for the same thing. Happy to recommend and will definitely return.
Girlfriend booked for anniversary, tried to book us both in at the same time. Realised this wasn’t possible, called to cancel weeks before the appointment - she confirmed it was cancelled but never got a refund. Still, a month on we still haven’t received a refund or any communication. Emailed multiple times before the appointment and still no communication. Very unprofessional business that will likely go under by the sounds of their reviews… hope the £45 was worth it lol.
The therapist saved me from the tension. My shoulders and neck feel so much better after the massage. I found my new favourite place! Definitely stick with her from now. Highly recommend 1hr Mix & Match massage here!
I booked online and paid online in advance. A few hours before my appointment, the shop lady called me that they will have to cancel my appointment due to the staff shortage. I asked for the refund but they only accept to do rescheduling because they don’t know how to refund. They asked me to come next day. Next day, they called me again and asked to me to come 20-30mins earlier if possible. It was definitely the stressful experience. Although the massage was okay I wouldn’t come back. They were acting unprofessional.
Had a brilliant massage at Charm Spa today. Feel like a new woman! Very relaxing and a nice mix of techniques. Not too soft on the pressure either, which is great for me. My only complaint is that it's very difficult to get through to Charm Spa on the phone. Otherwise brilliant, thank you
This was such an amazing massage and I've had so many!! I was in Leeds for the first time and had booked a 90 minute deep tissue massage. I thought it would be back, neck and shoulders but it was full body and it was just incredible. She also clicked my back at the end after putting me into all sorts of positions. She could tell/feel I had a bad shoulder and before I came here I was taking codeine every day for the pain. I visited 3 or 4 weeks ago now and I still haven't had to take pain killers since. I literally left feeling brand new and genuinely wish I lived in Leeds purely to come here all the time!! Whenever I come back, I will a million percent be coming back here! The ladies were so friendly and lovely too!! It was a little hard to find, you have to walk into the supermarket and walk up the stairs at the back to get there. I phoned them to say I couldn't find it and they helped me on the phone. One of the best massages and experiences I've ever had.
