I have known & worked with Annie Burton in a professional context for many years. In that time I can honestly say that she is a person of huge integrity & possesses a passion to help young people to be the best that they can be. All the young people that she has counselled /supported and their parents/guardians have rated her extremely highly & I can think of no better testimony that that. I personally endorse Annie's support service, Adolescent Wellbeing. A much needed service within the Derby area.
I highly recomend Annie Burton at Adolescent Wellbeing, Annie has supported me from the age of 14 when my mum passed away, we started of with one to one sessions for a year then she built a support group at my school with other children going through the same bereavement process to help comfort each other through tough periods in our lives. I can honestly say she has been an absolute blessing to me. I am now 26 and still often meet!
An excellent support service for all individuals , I have previously had counselling with Annie and she has helped me grow into the person i am today . Her support has always been amazing and she has an incredible passion in helping others. This counselling service are very LGBTQ+ friendly, so if you know anybody struggling with their gender or identities and would feel counselling is an option , I would look no other place than Adolescent Well-being. I needed counselling during my transition and she was so understanding , accepting and helpful . With Annie’s support, I am happier and my mind is healthier . I recommend for anyone and everyone , if I could give more than 5 stars I would .
I have known and worked alongside Annie for almost ten years. In that time I have seen the positive impact she has had on young people, guiding them through some very difficult periods and circumstances in their life. Annie has a real strength for counseling young people going through periods of bereavement and is approachable and understanding. She has had a huge impact not only the young person she is working with, but also the parents. I would highly recommended Adolescent Wellbeing to any parents wanting to find additional support.
