Breached my confidentiality. Nobody was in danger, my manager was told that I was having group therapy there. I was not informed, there was no regard towards me as a client, or as a professional. In breach of ethical framework. No apology from the person who breached my confidentiality, although I did receive an acknowledgement of an error from a member of the board of trustees, albeit only after I had submitted a complaint.
After my GP and local therapy centre refused to help me as I'm diagnosed with severe depression, I referred myself here, only to be told the exact same thing. To top it all off, both 111 and Samaritans said it's ok to commit suicide, as I'm now a legal adult. Don't bother trying to get help from anywhere, nobody will ever care, not even these people.
Referred to The Group Therapy Centre desperate for help after being turned down by my local mental health team for support because they couldn't provide the specialist services or group work I needed. After saying that I wouldn't be let down like I had been by my GP and the local team... I never heard from these people again, despite following up with them a number of times over several months. An utter disgrace, do not waste your time.
Therapist just sits there in silence whilst the rest of the group sits in silence. Very uncomfortable.. Their biggest concern was payments. Still had to pay for a session even if you are on holiday.. help with depression and anxiety? More like add to it... group would talk about other members behind their back if they struggled to attend.
Attended therapy here for over 5 years best thing I ever did.
