I had an assessment 6 weeks ago. I was told my diagnosis and full report would take about three weeks. I waited 5 weeks and reached out with multiple emails asking for an update so that I could proceed with treatment options and I have received no response. There is no phone number to call, and my insurance provider can’t reach this clinic to help sort this out. There should be professional standards for communication, especially for someone who works in mental health and this Dr is failing to provide basic communication. I am posting this in the hopes that it will inspire action and that I don't have to escalate this further. UPDATE: After posting this review, Dr Sardesai was very prompt in sending me my full report and diagnosis, however instead of apologizing for the delay and lack of communication, she proceeded to gaslight me with false information. She asserted that I should have known she was out of office till the 3rd of December, but her actual out of office listed no specific date. It's just said "back on Tuesday" I received this notice over two weeks ago, and now she is misrepresenting the facts to make me feel responsible for her lack of communication. After my assessment in October, she told me that I should have my report in about 3 weeks. In her follow up response , she has changed that and stated that her policy is to deliver report in 3 weeks after the invoice is paid by the insurance company. I confirmed with my insurance that she was paid in the first week of November, a month prior. My insurance company also informed me that this practice of withholding medical records from patients is not normal and should be reported. It is typical for most clinicians to provide the report as proof of services before payment is issued. (I am not an expert in these matters or policies this is juts what I've learned from speaking to my insurance and other professionals) My insurance company also informed me that she is in violation of her contract as a registered medical practitioner for not providing a contact phone number. My insurance company was unable to contact her throughout this process as well. In my frustration leading up to this, I managed to get a hold of the landlord where she practices. This person informed me that I was not the first to have difficulty in getting a response from Dr Sardesai. They too were unable to make contact with Dr Sardesai. This person was very professional and helpful and should not be considered responsible for this experience that I had. If this Dr is too busy to provide basic communication, she should seek help to manage. To work with people in the mental health space and not be accessible to them is a major issue. To respond to negative patient experience and gaslight them with false information is on another level. I truly hope that I am an outlier and that other patients receive better service under her care.

Dr Sardesai was very welcoming and friendly, the ADHD assessment for for my daughter was thorough and we came away feeling listened to and nothing was too much trouble. Wish we had found her much sooner.
