I trained alongside Matt at the University of Brighton in the existential humanistic approach, (and later in specialist young person's training with Lorraine Sherman) and I loved watching him work. He has a calm and soothing disposition, listens intently with openness, warmth and also in true existential spirit, has a canny ability to think outside the box, not being swayed by 'popular opinion' or assumption but more questioning and curiosity to get to the core of whatever the issue is. I would wholeheartedly recommend him as a therapist.
Although I haven't used Matt's counselling service I can attest to his character having known him 30 years. Matt is warm, intelligent and thoughtful. He is an attentive listener and clear communicator. His personality is non judgemental evidenced by both his self awareness and empathy.
