I highly recommend my stomatic therapist. She is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring throughout every appointment. Karen made me feel comfortable, explained everything clearly, and provided exceptional support. Her kindness and expertise made a real difference, and I’m so grateful for the care I received. I can't rate this type of therapy enough.
Working with Karen over a series of one to one sessions, as well as in a group setting, has been genuinely transformative for me. She creates a space that feels incredibly safe, grounded and compassionate, whilst still gently encouraging real depth and honesty. I was surprised by how powerful the group work felt alongside the individual sessions. There was something really healing about being witnessed and supported collectively, and I came away with far more than I expected. I feel more connected to myself, more regulated, and better equipped for life in general. Deeply grateful for the experience and for Karen’s way of holding space and I look forward to working more with her in the future.
After years of navigating the NHS, medications, private healthcare, and spending hours/££ across a range of different approaches all of which had their place. I eventually came across Karen’s somatic work. I was sceptical at first. It wasn’t something I was familiar with, and it didn’t feel like the “usual” route. But it turned out to be the one approach that really helped me access something deeper. I had a genuine, felt release rather than just understanding things on an intellectual / surface level. Karen has a calm, grounded presence and an easy, relaxed way about her that immediately puts you at ease. She was open at the start of each session to answer or hear anything I wanted to share with her prior to each session. That made the whole experience feel safe and even enjoyable, despite the depth of the work. What stood out most was how her approach goes beyond talking. I’d tried more top down, traditional therapies before. But this felt different, it worked from the inside out. Especially at the beginning when finding the right words can be difficult, this approach doesn’t rely on you having to explain everything. But for me anyway the shift was shift was unreal! Looking back, I only wish I’d let go of any hesitation around “alternative” approaches sooner and found Karen earlier. Speaking from personal experience here as these things don't seem to be a one size fits all. But if you’re open to something that works more to get to the ‘root’ of the issue on a deeper level, then this kind of work deserves far more attention than it gets! Look forward to doing more work with Karen in the future and I can't thank her enough for her help to date :)
I had the most incredible sacred somatic journey last year with karen where I went into a deep past life experience. It wasn’t always easy but karen held space beautifully and was so present with me so I felt really safe to fully feel and meet what I needed to. It cleared a lot for me and my life has changed so much since. Karen is extremely compassionate kind and loving in her work and I’d highly recommend her!
