I was a bit apprehensive about going here because of the naturist environment and the reviews from other about Sam and the potentially sexual nature of this place. However, I found it to be a very normal experience. I think I met the owner Sam and she is actually really nice!!! I was nervous about the naturist thing and she really put me at ease. They're totally cool about not having to take your towel off all the time and as long as you follow the rules you will be fine. The staff explained everything really well I didn't go upstairs or anything only stayed in the downstairs pool area, which is fine I think. I don't know what the hell some people were talking about the pool was quite warm when I went there, warmer than Harspa in town. Plus the other areas were very clean. To be honest the downstairs bit is all I came for and I certainly got the spa experience that I was looking for. The only thing I will say is that I visited on a weekend and it was quite busy with people who often had to be reminded of the rules by the staff, so I might try going during the week next time.
It's a naked adult venue spread across 3 floors which have differing etiquette. Reading their website carefully will give you an idea of what to expect on each given session as they vary, you should carefully pick the one to suit your desire. The place accommodates naturists, couples looking to broaden horizons & experienced lifestyle players. It does this very well while keeping the sensibilities in check downstairs & while keeping safe discipline upstairs. Ground floor is the entrance & bar, it sells soft drinks & snacks at normal bar prices on tab/deposit. Downstairs is a naked Spa, the cleanliness is immaculate. The fixtures are all in working order but some of the finishing is dated but still way above expectation for the entrance price you'll pay. Petting is tolerated, but heavy petting is not. My partner & I were told off for her sitting on me. The spa will accommodate anyone comfortable with being naked either solo or with their opposite gendered partner on couples sessions. Upstairs has adult restrooms, half of which are private, ie have a latched door & the others are open rest/bed spaces. People who are looking for shared experiences will be happy. Newbies can take a peek too & make a quick retreat if they are not so keen. The staff & in particular the owner are complete gems, they are super friendly but can also be formidable when required. They go out of their way to make sure woman in particular are safe & happy. Most of the negative comments here are from men who as you would expect have not been as lucky as they'd have hoped for on singles sessions.
Friendly staff and warm welcome. Nice range of temperatures in the steam rooms, saunas, hot tubs and pool. The manager has a great sense of humour and I can imagine the only reason why people may have found her abrupt (which I’ve read in some reviews) was if they were breaking a rule (and the rules are in place to keep people safe and having an enjoyable experience). She was especially fantastic when I was getting changed at the end and had lost a contact lens by bringing in a little mirror with light to help me locate it! Thank you :-) I went on the Saturday evening session from 5.30 and enjoyed the atmosphere and balance of couples. I am not sure i would enjoy it if I attended mid week and found it full of lots of guys but the time at which I attended I felt very safe and comfortable and had a relaxing evening. Lockers are provided with a key that you return to reception - so no need to pack a £1 or to carry the key around for anyone who may be wondering. Also parking is right outside on the street with a pay by phone app. Very convenient.
I have been to this lovely spa multiple times and love it. There is a nice café area for drinks and light meals, a full relaxing spa down the spiral stairs and rooms upstairs to rest. It's inexpensive for the amount of time and facilities you can use too. Very clean and the water is tested regularly. The big jacuzzi is lovely and the cool pool is good to plunge in after the sauna or steam room for circulation. I know some use this spa for adult reasons, but I find it amazing as a regular spa. A good winter retreat from the cold weather and so relaxing. Remember to take a big towel if like me you're on the bigger side. Unfortunately you'll always get a few bad apples in the public who try to buck the rules, but the staff are firm with them so if you think you can film, put hands on women without consent, stay beyond a session time or try to hide and stay as a single male during couples spa time you'll rightly be told to leave. I appreciate the rules and keeping us safe. The owner is lovely btw!
As always a wonderful experience. We have been coming here for twenty years. As naturists we highly recommend visiting. We now live in Northern Ireland and spent 4 days holiday in Brighton this November. Choose Brighton so we could attend here. So it must be good Staff and owner very friendly. Doing all their regular checks and keeping the place clean and tidy. The only thing that disappointed us was the " Friday people " who thought it a great idea to chat very loudly up on the upper deck. Normally a lovely zen place to relax and chill. Unfortunately we never got the area without the group spoiling the ambience. We left earlier than expected mildly disappointed. Not the spa's or teams fault. However we will definitely be back, just not a Friday afternoon/ evening
I will start by saying that I have been to spas in many different countries including two other spas in UK. But NEVER has someone been so rude to me. A member of the staff, probably the owner was shouting at me two times, told me very agresively to go out of the spa and told me that I was banned from entering for three months. The only reason: Because I stayed in the saunas several minutes more than I should. I dont understand this amount of hostility because I didnt interrupt anyone or done any damage. I should also mention that the upper floors dont have any spa facilities, only "restrooms" which are actually sex rooms. So if you dont plan to be invited to sex swing party, you dont have to go upstairs. I also wasnt very impressed with spa downstairs, because all the amenities repeat, so there are two saunas, two turkish baths, one very cold pool and only one hot tub which really works.
We're impressed by the facility, where one can enjoy a proper sauna retreat, relax in the solarium and explore the restrooms in a relaxed atmosphere. The faclities where spotless and the staff extremely friendly.
I attended with my wife for the first time on Saturday and found all the staff and Sam really helpful. They answered all our questions, without hesitation. The amenities were 10/10 and we loved the hot tubs and plunge pool. The rest lounge was relaxing and the variety of food and drinks were great. We found other couples that were really friendly and helped us to navigate the etiquette of the facilities, we would've loved to have thanked them before we left. We will definitely be back soon as it was nice to unplug from the outside world for a few hours, Terry and Sharon
Finally treated myself to a visit after a long time of consideration. 'Lovely' quiet & relaxing & natural atmosphere with great facilities. The staff were pleasant & helpful, even pointed out that I'd arrived a bit late in the afternoon & would only be able to stay for about 1.5 hours & suggested I save my money & visit another time. The hot tubs are HOT as are the sauna's & steam rooms, the jacuzzi jets are powerful & the cool pool with swim jets is refreshing after the hot areas. The sun terrace was popular that day so I'll have to return to try that sometime. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place !! Ignore the bad reviews: if you've had a bad experience you've probably broken the rules or upset someone.
I had a great time! Plus I had the privilege of meeting the owner who gave me a big welcoming hug when I confessed I read the reviews and love her sass hehe. Honestly if you've had a bad experience in this place then you've done something wrong. The staff were all polite and helpful as it was my first time to this spa. It was clean, I was there for both the afternoon and the evening and saw plenty of temperature checks, staff keeping place hygienic/safe and they asked singles to leave politely at change over time. The facilities are great, tried the pool, steam room, hot tub and sauna. All lovely. The food and drinks are fairly priced, I didn't eat anything but it smelt tasty. I will be back and I will be bringing friends. Thank you to all of you who helped me have a much needed relaxing day.
