I came to see Jamie desperate for something that would help chronic pain and hypermobility anxiety/issues/obsessions. What I learned challenged my preconceptions of what pain is and what I thought was "wrong" with my body. The work Jamie does is truly ahead of the curve and opened up a whole can of worms of tension and release that I wasnt even aware of, and with it came many changes and unfamiliar sensations, but also a sense of peace I dont think I had ever felt before - every time I left the studio I felt like I was walking on air and breathing freely for the first time. Jamie was as much a physiotherapist as an emotional confidant and was very patient with my neuroses and understanding how my autism and trauma can manifest in black and white thinking about my body. Finishing Jamies 12 series I am standing taller while being more relaxed, feel stronger day to day, but more importantly it has given me a taste of what it feels like to exist in a regulated and calm body, and that pain doesnt always equal damage or danger - something I will now work on carrying with me for the rest of my life. Thank you Jamie !
Jamie is absolutely amazing! I spent years with back and neck pain, trying different osteos etc and nothing worked - I genuinely thought there wouldn't be a fix. From the moment I stepped into Jamie's studio, I felt seen and heard and understood. Because he works with fascia release, the process itself is an enjoyable, relaxing one and it all completely works! Would completely and utterly recommend - so completely grateful to have found and worked with him :)
I’ve been seeing Jamie for years now and he has been instrumental in aiding my recovery from various injuries and improving my body dynamics and movement patterns. Highly recommended.
Over the course of the last few months, Jamie has helped me out significantly with my original issue (knee pain) and also with identifying and fixing a lot of other imbalances and tension in my body that I wasn't even aware of. There was a big knock-on effect to untangle and I'm very glad he improved my overall situation and now considers me symptom-free. He's very experienced, knowledgeable and helpful and offers a lot of suggestions and tips to be mindful of and implement in day-to-day life.
Jamie was recommended by a friend. From the outset he was very knowledgable and determined to diagnose and treat me. This has worked well over a period of several months and the improvement has been amazing. Also, my own understanding of my body has increased through his input. I can highly recommend Jamie.
