Started ADHD coaching with Sophie when I was feeling quite stuck and frustrated with myself, especially around motivation and getting things done. I’d always just thought I was lazy or not trying hard enough, which obviously doesn’t help. One of the biggest things she helped me understand was dopamine and how much that actually impacts everything. I’d never really thought about it like that before, but it made so much sense. It explained why I can be really on it one day and then completely stuck the next, even if I want to do things. We spoke a lot about how my brain works rather than trying to force myself into systems that just don’t suit me. Things like breaking tasks down, making things feel a bit more interesting, or even just recognising when I’m low on energy instead of beating myself up for it. She also helped me with that all-or-nothing mindset I’ve always had. I used to feel like if I couldn’t do something properly there was no point, but now I’m a lot better at just doing what I can and that’s taken a lot of pressure off. Sophie is just really easy to talk to as well. Nothing ever felt awkward or judged, even when I was trying to explain things that didn’t fully make sense. I think because she actually understands ADHD herself, it just felt more relaxed and real. Overall I feel a lot more aware of how I work and a bit more in control of things day to day. Definitely glad I did it.

I had access to ADHD coaching through my employer, and at first I wasn’t sure about it. I’d never had coaching before and didn’t really know what to expect. ADHD has been a barrier for me throughout my life, and I’d always assumed the negative sides of it were just something I’d have to live with. From the get-go, Sophie was friendly, welcoming, and created a genuinely safe space to talk about my experiences and struggles. She worked alongside me to tackle the day-to-day challenges I was dealing with, always encouraging and supporting me in a way that felt natural and non-judgemental. Because Sophie has ADHD herself, she really understands the struggles from her own lived experience. That made it so much easier to open up and share my often chaotic thoughts without feeling judged at all. She supported me particularly with managing work tasks and also around finances, which has always been a bit of a blind spot for me. Since having coaching, I feel more capable and empowered to live more harmoniously with my ADHD. I’ve had a real mindset shift and can now approach things differently, without feeling paralysed by them like I used to. I’m forever grateful to Sophie for her support. I genuinely can’t imagine my life now without ADHD coaching. I’d recommend it to anyone who’s questioning things or struggling, this is your sign to go for it with Sophie!
