I’ve been seeing St Paul’s Physio for help with my cervical radiculopathy, and the improvement has been outstanding. Alex has been brilliant — knowledgeable, thorough and genuinely committed to helping me recover. He really took the time to understand my symptoms and guided me through treatment and exercises that have made a huge difference. A big thank you as well to Karen for always helping me get appointments booked in and making everything run smoothly. The whole team is friendly, professional and genuinely caring. Highly recommended to anyone needing physio support!
10/10 services here. Communication is top tier and I could have felt more at ease. Thank you also Karen for being a beautiful friendly face to see when arriving
I had a great experience at St Paul’s Physio in Birmingham. From the start, Karen, the practice manager, was welcoming and professional, making everything simple to arrange. Alex, my physiotherapist, was excellent—he listened, explained everything clearly, and provided treatment that made a real difference. The rehab support and aftercare have been fantastic, and it’s such a relief to finally find a place that genuinely helped me recover. I highly recommend St Paul’s Physio, especially Alex and Karen, for anyone looking for expert, caring physiotherapy in Birmingham.
I have been receiving physio for the last 9 months at St Paul’s Physio and I cannot believe that they have been able to resolve problems that I’ve had for years. I cannot fault their level of care, knowledge and customer service. After going to previous physiotherapists who I have had a negative experience with, I am so lucky I found St Paul’s as I had begin to lose faith and trust in getting help with my health. Karen is always friendly and helpful, and Andy, my physiotherapist, is honestly amazing, I cannot recommend St Paul’s Physio enough.
I have been a client here for a little while, getting a few injuries sorted. Everyone has been amazing, Karen does an amazing job coordinating appointments and busy diaries, plus she is so friendly and caring. Alexander is amazing, clearly really experienced and knowledgeable, he makes sure you can keep doing what you enjoy and getting stronger and pain free in the process. He managed to identify my ailments and treat them when the GP appeared baffled by my symptoms. Couldn't recommend this team more strongly and will continue to use their services whenever I have any injuries or niggles.
Miracle worker! I had two degenerative discs and one prolapsed disc in my neck and ended up in A&E 3 weeks after having my baby; unable to move. I couldn’t hold my baby as my arm and hand was numb, painful and tingly and all the muscles around my neck and down my back were extremely painful and medication wasn’t working, sitting and standing became unbearable. I had planned to have a nerve root block injection after seeing a consultant as that was recommended as the quickest way to recover. I went to see Alex a few days before my planned injection and he has been nothing short of incredible. His straight talking, extensive knowledge and confidence has meant that after 7 sessions I am fully recovered and have not needed the high risk injection. I am now more knowledgeable to recognise and understand what I can and cannot do, how I manage it moving forward as well as being more perceptive about the muscles in and around my neck and back. I cancelled the injection that was planned and after 2-3 sessions my neck had improved considerably. Alex enabled me to hold my baby again and look after him. We worked together on reducing amitriptyline as it made me very sleepy and I reduced it from 75mg to nothing. I cannot recommend him enough, he is a true expert in his field and I put all my trust in him and he absolutely delivered. St Paul’s Physio is so welcoming too, Karen is fab, they’re friendly, funny, sociable and caring and I will miss them as they became a bi-weekly part of my maternity leave. I would highly recommend Alex to anyone with any nerve problems in the neck or back.
Alex has been incredible, a fountain of knowledge. I have been experiencing pain for several months and seen countless 'experts', Alex was the only one to first listen to what was wrong first and advised me perfectly. On the way back to a full recovery thanks to Alex's expert treatment.
Such a lovely, warm, professional welcome which puts you at ease straight away. The staff being so approachable and friendly, makes the visit a joy. I’ve suffered from migraines for many many years and the wonderful physiotherapist has worked a miracle! Very knowledgeable and understanding. Have recommended to many others already and will continue to do so, for a long time to come. A pleasure to meet such lovely people who are also amazing at their job…a real treasure x
I have had lower back problems for the last 30 years since I first suffered from a herniated disc in my lower back. I have seen a number of physios in that time, with a varying degree of success. I have been a client at St Paul’s under Alex for more than a decade now, and am extremely happy with my quality of care. Although I still suffer episodes of sciatica due to lower disc degeneration, Alex’s expertise has really helped with pain management. Alex clearly has a wealth of knowledge in his field and has great interpersonal skills; this helps him to quickly assess my treatment needs to ensure we reach the desired outcome in the most effective way. As a result, I would highly recommend Alex and St Paul’s to anyone requiring physiotherapy.
I have received treatment from Alex, Andy and Arti over the last few months for lower back pain and sciatica. All therapists are extremely personable, highly skilled and professional. Most of my sessions have been with Arti who has been exceptional and very patient with me. Arti always puts my mind at rest and eases my anxiety and pain. Karen who manages the practice has also been exceptional. It is an absolute pleasure to visit the practice and be in the company of such amazing people. Thank you for everything you have done for me. You are all truly amazing human beings!
