Lavinia has been amazing in supporting me through a period of time where I was needing help. She guided me through the situation, helped me to navigate the challenges I was experiencing and face them, as well as helping me build my personal tool kit back up to continue to be able to deal with situations. Having never had therapy before I would highly recommend this to anyone experiencing personal challenges and needing support.
The priory have been amazing at helping me with my anxiety and OCD habits. CBT helped me understand and gain more control over my impulsive thoughts and habits. Thank you Steve!
My interactions were online, however all the appointments were easy to make, I had plenty of reminders and the team were excellent. My therapist Nikita Virk was excellent, extremely supportive knowledgeable and able to get me thinking about things in a different way. I feel like I have started the journey towards a more positive mindset which without the help from my therapist I could not have done.
Faultless experience from start to finish. Steve Benton, in particular, was fantastic - he immediately put me at ease and made sure every session went at my own pace. He listened, understood what I needed, and made the whole process feel comfortable and positive. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough!
My experience with Faith has been transformational. I feel a lot of change in myself and my approach towards life. She has heard me and helped me understand myself better. This was my second time taking sessions with her and if I had to go back to therapy I would without a doubt choose her.
I have spent the last 20 weeks working with Nikita and have found it transformational from both a therapeutic perspective (dealing with some deep rooted issues) and from an educational perspective where I have been given a number of tools (Layers of cognitive thinking, Unhelpful thinking, compassionate mind training, Life trap information) all of these skill-sets are something that I can keep of working on, using, improving to keep the progression going after my sessions have finished. The application of these tools have made a huge impact on my life, thinking, relationships and overall well being. Personally, I really enjoyed Nikita's style, delivery and overall "bedside manner" she really allowed me to open up and get to grips with some issues that I had previously no idea were actually issues for me in the present. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Nikita for her help and guidance over the past 6 months and will miss our sessions together. I feel very lucky for Nikita to have been selected as my Therapist by Priory.
Faith has been helping me with some ongoing issues over the past 4 months. I have had therapy on and off with different therapists for the past 17 years and nobody has made an impact like Faith has. She is objective, empathetic and holds me accountable. She has provided great resources that I will continue to use outside of therapy. I wouldn't hesitate to engage Faith in future should I need to and would definitely recommend to friends and family.
After a difficult period I was lucky enough to have Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from Dr Philippa Wheeler over 22 sessions. I had other therapists in the past who I had not connected with at all - their approaches had seemed disorganised or confrontational. Philippa was incredibly professional, thorough and patient. There was zero judgement, only compassion and clear guidance. Philippa was not afraid to confront patterns of thinking or behaviours that were not productive, but in a way that explained practically why thinking differently could lead to better results. I learned so much from Philippa about how emotions underpin our lives, our reactions, our thinking process. It was absolutely life changing, and has allowed me to make progress I didn't think I would be able to make. Most of all it felt like I was benefiting from a progressive, systematic approach to rebuilding myself and my day to day life. It felt like all the advice was clearly based in science, evidence and experience. The therapy benefited from knowledge of neuroscience in many ways. I cannot recommend Philippa strongly enough - if you are suffering from a serious mental health issue that has made your life too difficult you should consider working with Philippa and the excellent wider team at Priory Birmingham.
Sandip is an absolutely incredible therapist, and I would throughly recommend her to anyone and everyone. I saw Sandip from Oct 2023 to Feb 2025, having gone through a particularly difficult time in my personal life with a number of different life changes. Whether it was a relationship, work or health issue, my sessions with Sandip were always something I would look forward to, as she had the ability to make me completely at ease, and to express exactly how I was feeling. Sandip was always able provide such sound support that enabled me to reflect properly on the situations, and stop me catastrophising. This ultimately resulted in the reduction of my anxieties and an improvement in my ability to control them. I told her this a number of times, but I genuinely don’t know how I would have gotten through that period of my life without my sessions with Sandip, and for anyone looking for an incredibly kind therapist who creates the safest of places for you to share your thoughts and feelings, I would recommend you seek the support of Sandip. I know I will be again if I need to in future.
I recently completed a 10-session therapy program with Faith Wilson, and I can't recommend her highly enough. From our very first session, Faith created a warm and welcoming environment where I felt safe to share my thoughts and feelings. Her empathetic approach and keen insights helped me gain a deeper understanding of myself and my challenges. She offered practical tools and strategies that I could apply in my daily life, making a significant difference in how I cope with stress and navigate relationships. Faith is not only a skilled therapist but also a genuinely caring person. Her encouragement and support made me feel empowered throughout the process. I’ve seen noticeable improvements in my mental well-being, and I’m grateful for her guidance. Faith Wilson is an excellent choice.
