My experience of therapy with Kiran has been very positive. From the beginning she has made me feel comfortable and safe to talk. She listens carefully and gives me time to explain my feelings without interrupting or judging me. I went through a very difficult previous relationship and was a victim of domestic violence. Speaking about this is not easy for me, but Kiran has supported me with kindness and understanding. She creates a safe space where I feel able to talk about painful experiences. Kiran makes me feel heard, respected and supported. She is very easy to talk to and shows genuine care. When I speak about my problems, she listens patiently and responds in a thoughtful way that helps me think more clearly about my situation. It has also helped a lot that she understands my culture. Being able to speak in my own language makes it easier for me to express my feelings and explain things properly. This makes the sessions feel more comfortable and natural for me. Overall, I am very satisfied with the support I receive from Kiran. The sessions have helped me feel stronger and more positive about moving forward, and I really appreciate the help and understanding she has given me.
Kiran helps me and lets me talk about my feelings and thought without interruption and we talk about them as and when we do. We talk about things that I wouldn’t usually speak about but I feel listened to and heard. I’d like to talk a bit more about ways to combat how I feel however I do understand I need to do that as well. I never feel judged or like I’m being judged when speaking to kiran and she’s easy to talk to.
Melissa Morton was amazing throughout my CBT sessions. She was super patient, understanding and helped me work through a lot of things. Couldn’t be happier with the support I recieved- thank you!
Kiran helps me a lot especially when I speak in my own language Punjabi as she understands me fluently and speaks back to me in the same language which makes it easier for me to understand. She is very nice to me and is easy to speak to as she understands my feelings and takes them into consideration. I love my experience so far as Kiran is helping me a lot. She is very good with advice and her advice helps me and my mental state.
My daughter has just finished a 6 week course of counselling with Zaynab for anxiety. The whole experience with Our Roots has been wonderful from Sarah the lovely receptionist always friendly and welcoming to the counsellors we have come in to contact with Maya and Zaynab. My daughter has come away feeling supported and more able to manage everyday situations. As a family we would like to thank you all, continue the great work.
Kiran is very lovely. She’s always ready to hear me out and often asks about how my past experiences shape my feelings and current lifestyle. It’s quite nice to have someone hear me out. It’s nice to know that often my feeling are sometimes normal or at least justified. Kiran does not make me feel judged at all. It’s been helpful for me to have these talks. Unfortunately due to the nature of my course it really hard to find the right time to talk, but it has worked out so far. Kind regards.
I truly thought I’d never be able to see the good in life and in myself, until I met Mel for my CBT Therapy. She’s has this soft nature to her that really relaxed me and my mind. Throughout my journey I’ve been well supported, and she would do the same for any other individual. It’s been a true blessing to have ever met Mel, and I’ll be forever grateful. Thanks for everything you have done! Mel Morton CBT
My experience with Kiran as my therapist has been genuinely supportive and grounding. From the beginning, Kiran created a space where I felt listened to, understood, and never judged. She has a calm, reassuring presence that helped me feel safe enough to open up about things I usually struggle to express. Kiran’s therapeutic skills are strong — she asks thoughtful questions, reflects things back to me in a way that helps me gain clarity, and always guides the sessions with compassion. I felt she was attentive to my needs and adapted her approach depending on how I was feeling that day. One thing that really stood out was how easy she is to talk to. Even during difficult conversations, I felt supported and respected. She helped me feel more grounded and confident in managing my emotions, and I appreciated the practical tools she shared along the way. Overall, Kiran made me feel valued, heard, and genuinely supported throughout the process. I’m grateful for her guidance and the space she held for my growth.

A BIG THANK YOU FOR ALL INVOLVED 👍👍
At first, genuine thoughts were that therapy with Kiran would be a waste of energy, and nothing would change. As an individual who is raised not to share or show feelings or emotions and no one to turn or confied in. I did not feel pressured to engage with Kiran, which made me less stressed and surprised myself as I tend to shut down conversations and find a way to end the call. Having trust issues with previous therapist. I did not open up. However, I developed a sense of trust and honesty speaking with kiran as I felt calm and relaxed for the first time in a long time . I opened up and felt truly understood and listened to. I truly now believe Kiran cares about my well-being and is truly seeking ways to improve and structure my recovery and to achieve my goals. Kiran's ability to get me talking astonished me as I avoided it for years since I felt lost and useless. Kiran managed to convince me and helped me register for a gym in order to keep fit & healthy and occupied as I was indoors for months, even avoiding local shops due to my severe depression and anxiety. I'm grateful and thankful for the support and the structure that Kiran is providing me. building trust, honesty, and understanding. I believe in time I will get through my mental health condition that is affecting my day to Kind regards A.s eidarus
