Faith Ferber is top notch and I cannot recommend her more. She has multiple specialties and trainings. I have recommended her to friends and family. I have only had positive experiences with Viva Center. I am surprised to read negative reviews - the healthcare landscape has made getting mental health care difficult and expensive.
Viva is 10/10! I have been recommending them to friends and had the best experience with Faith Ferber. Working with her has been life changing. I am grateful for the spectacular support and care.
The Viva Center has supported people in Washinton, DC for many years. They are experts in brain and body-based modalities and trauma-informed care.
Dr. Lopez and The Viva Center are incredible sources of expertise and support to the community. As a fellow mental health practitioner in the DC area, I am aware of how sincerely dedicated the practice is to providing body-oriented, trauma-focused care to their clients. It is reassuring to have a practice to whom I can refer clients and trust they will get the highest quality of care. A true gem in the area.
I had the pleasure of meeting Julie Lopez many years ago and knew from the beginning I could trust her and her team to reliably refer clients to them and collaborate with. They are always professional, communicative and knowledgeable. It is obvious they care very deeply about the services they are providing.
I don't know where to even start raving about Julie Lopez and her group of clinicians at the Viva Center. Let me begin by saying that I've known Julie and Viva for over 15 years, and being a Washington D.C. psychotherapist myself, I have referred many people to VIVA over the years. Why? Because of the rigor of their passion to serve, the integrity of their internal procedures -- which include continuous study and study groups within the organization itself -- and their commitment to thinking out of the box and staying on the cutting edge of psychological evolution. Julie Lopez has created VIVA as an embodiment of her beliefs in post traumatic growth. At Viva, via its diverse and multi-experienced clinicians, you will find a one-stop shop of well being and healing in most psychotherapeutic modalities. Furthermore, the Viva Center also provides online workshops, classes, and copious information for folks who are either not yet ready to start psychotherapy or who can't currently pay for it. Julie Lopez, and the VIVA Center are mission-driven in contributing to a more healed humanity. The Viva Center remains my go-to referral source, especially since Julie and her clinicians truly walk their talk. Thank you for this service!
As a sole proprietor occupational therapist (OT) running a fly-in/fly-out practice each month, I was in need of space to rent to see my clients. The Viva Center offered me the perfect solution! It is centrally located, close to the Metro, and most importantly offers a wonderful environment to work. I have flexibility with my schedule and am able to accommodate off-hours and weekend appointments for my clients easily. It is a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for everyone and I feel very strongly that the work all Viva clinicians are doing in the community is changing lives for the better. I highly recommend independent and private holistic practitioners consider the Viva Center for clinic space as well as a referral source for all mental health and wellness needs!
I'm beyond impressed with The Viva Center's commitment to body and brain-based therapies to address trauma and other behavioral health concerns. Founder Dr. Julie Lopez is a true delight and her staff is competent, compassionate, and truly invested in the holistic health of the DC-area community. I feel lucky to know Julie and work with her on projects in my professional and personal life. The Viva Center's Holistic Professional's Group is not to be missed!
I've attended a few of their events and found them not only to be informative, but also inspirational and eye-opening. Their speakers have always been wonderful, whether it's full of panelists from different backgrounds or Dr. Julie herself. Dr. Julie is clearly an expert in her field and is very knowledgeable with mental health issues. Additionally, the events have also been a great way to gather resources, ways to seek help for yourself or loved ones, and to meet and network with others who are either interested in the topic or work as professionals in the field. I've really enjoyed each event so far and look forward to attending more in the future!
I've known Dr. Julie Lopez (founder of the Viva Center) as a colleague for almost 20 years. I've always been impressed by her warmth, caring, thoughtfulness, professional wisdom, and desire to give back to the community. The Viva Center is a manifestation of these traits, offering a wide range of healing modalities. I am also impressed by the enthusiastic dedication of Center staff whom I've met to provide the best possible individualized treatment to their clients.
