Andromeda is the best! Always so understanding and flexible with meeting, really takes the time, and remembers the little details of things you tell her. She's been incredible in helping me deal with anxiety issues I've dealt with for a long time by helping me understand my own brain and body, and not only reminds me to be kind to myself, but genuinely makes me feel like I deserve that kindness. Highly recommend, I'm growing so much!
I have only good things to say about my experience with Symmetry Counseling, and more specifically my therapist Andromeda. She is extremely warm, inviting, and understanding. While I am nothing but comfortable in our sessions, she also gently nudges me toward deeper insight and introspection. In addition to feeling understood, Andromeda has given me strategies and tools that I have been able to implement into my daily life. I always end our sessions thinking, 'that was really needed'.
Andromeda is an amazing therapist! She doesn't just help me manage symptoms, but I really feel that she is supporting me on a healing journey. She provides insights that help me make sense of my life and relationships. She doesn't create explanations for me, just helps me make connections I wouldn't have otherwise, and nudges me in the right direction as I am processing to be able to grow in new ways. She's also warm, funny, genuinely empathetic, and just a lovely presence to be around (even virtually)! I'd recommend her practice to anyone seeking therapy.
I have had nothing but great experiences with Symmetry and with Andromeda. Kind, caring, and someone who I can trust. I did not think I would enjoy tele-appointments, but I have come to appreciate the convenience – and I have still been able to have very successful sessions. Would highly recommend Symmetry to anyone.
My fiancé and I have been seeing Andromeda for over a year now and her kindness, acceptance, and knowledge in our couples therapy sessions has made our relationship so much stronger. Her patience and keen ability to see the issue at hand amongst our conversations always leave us feeling understood and reinvigorated. We can’t thank her, or recommend her enough!
Over the past 9 months, I've had the privilege of working with Andromeda at Symmetry Counseling. She has been instrumental in my personal growth journey, offering exactly what I needed: deep understanding, extensive knowledge in her field, and genuine empathy. Each session with Andromeda is something I eagerly anticipate, as her guidance consistently provides me with fresh perspectives and valuable insights. What also stands out about Symmetry Counseling is their commitment to diversity. Andromeda, a knowledgeable and empathetic black woman, is part of a team that truly reflects a wide array of backgrounds, races, genders, and ages. This diverse environment not only enriches the therapeutic experience but also ensures a welcoming space for everyone. I highly recommend Symmetry Counseling to anyone seeking a supportive and inclusive environment for their mental health needs. With therapists like Andromeda, you're in excellent hands.
Andromeda has given me tools in therapy that improve my life on a regular basis. She's always ready with a listening ear and ideas for cultivating a mindset that helps me work towards the life I want. And intake at Symmetry Counseling has always been a seamless experience - I've never had an issue with insurance, scheduling, or anything like that. Definitely recommend this place and Andromeda!
Andromeda is the best therapist I have ever had. She will show you skills that can help you drastically change your life. She’s also very easy to talk to.
Andromeda is skillful and a pleasure to work with. She helped me navigate personal challenges and in relationship counseling.
I've had a wonderful experience with Symmetry Counseling, and more specifically my therapist Andromeda Peters. Before starting my therapy sessions, I underestimated how beneficial therapy could be to all aspects of my life. Andromeda has utilized her knowledge and experience to develop an approach that caters to my individual needs and goals. While I came to her with the desire to work on one particular issue, we've been able to deal with that issue and go beyond to look at how I can live a happier more fulfilling life. I look forward to my sessions with Andromeda, and feel lucky that I found a therapist that I genuinely enjoy speaking to. I've recommended Andromeda to several of my friends, and would advise anyone who is in search for a therapist to see her.
