I cannot recommend Natalie highly enough. From the very first session, she created a space that felt safe, supportive and completely judgment-free. Natalie listens with genuine care and asks thoughtful questions that really helped me reflect and grow. What I appreciate most is her ability to balance professionalism with warmth. She doesn't just listen -- she provides practical tools, perspectives and strategies that I've been able to use in my daily life. I've noticed meaningful improvements in how I manage stress, communicate and understand myself. Scheduling has always been smooth, sessions start on time and she is consistently respectful of my goals and pace. Therapy can be intimidating, but Natalie makes the process approachable and empowering. If you are considering therapy and want someone who is compassionate, insightful and truly invested in helping her clients succeed, I would absolutely recommend Natalie Setliff.
I started working with Natalie 6 1/2 years ago and then moved around for the past 4 years. I’m back in DC and called Natalie. I’m honestly blown away by how different therapy feels with her. She’s warm, sharp, and actually engaged — no staring at me and nodding for 50 minutes. She asks smart questions, challenges your patterns, and helps you understand why you do what you do without making you feel judged. In just a short time I’m communicating better, noticing my triggers, and making decisions that actually reflect what I want instead of what keeps everyone else comfortable. It’s the first time therapy has felt both supportive and effective at the same time. Highly recommend.
Natalie Setliff is a wonderful therapist who truly cares about her patients. She has figured out the perfect balance of being professional and personal.
