BEST 👏 MASSAGE 👏 EVERRRR!!! TL/DR: Henry may just be an angel sent from above because I walked in there a bundle of nerves and came out feeling like a new woman! Preface: I’ve never been massaged by a man before but Henry set a tone that immediately felt professional and set me at ease. He kept words sparse/a calming tone before and during the massage, which kept me relaxed. He was bubbly after, which was a nice gentle way to get back to reality. The massage: He asked where my pain points were and was attentive to those, but he also found areas I had forgot to mention - was very intuitive about feeling areas that needed more attention. He did a great job of using mixed massage approaches to make sure every muscle was properly attended to. I highly recommend the stone massage. Really felt like poured all of his positive energy into the massage too - I’ve had massages where I physically felt good but something felt off/made it not enjoyable and that definitely wasn’t the case here. Setting: The smell in the room was pleasant and relaxing but not overpowering. The lights were dim but not dark, which struck a perfect balance.
I wanted to try trigger point massages, and Mustard Seed was one of the few places offering them at a reasonable price. I’ve gone there twice now, and I’m hooked! If you’re like me and like those “hurts-so-good” type of massages, Dynesha will get you right. Glad to have found a go-to massage spot!
Absolutely amazing experience! The atmosphere was relaxing, the massage was exactly what I needed, and I left feeling refreshed and stress-free. Professional, friendly, and highly skilled—can’t wait to book my next session!
Appreciate the ability to call and schedule appointments, the kind front desk staff, clean/quiet environment, and great staff. Davie did a 60-min relaxation massage this morning and was lovely. Davie was attentive my requests and thoughtful about areas I asked for focused time on during this massage. Thanks!!
This place is so great! I love that it’s right in the neighborhood. I’ve gotten 2 massages here one intuitive and one myofascial release both by Nahila. She is amazing, she is so skilled and professional. Both times I did not want the massage to end! This is my go to for massages and will definitely be back. I found the massage room to be clean, peaceful and relaxing.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve been visiting Mustard Seed Massage for over a year now, and I can confidently say that Dawn is the only reason I keep coming back. While I’ve experienced massages from other therapists, none have addressed my aches, pains, and muscle tension like Dawn does. Her expertise and attentiveness are truly unmatched. Dawn has a unique ability to identify problem areas and work through them with precision, providing relief I haven’t found elsewhere. She genuinely cares about her clients, and it shows in every session. I believe she’s the key to the success of this business, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. If you're looking for an incredible massage experience, book your next appointment with Dawn—you won’t regret it!
UPDT: I never said I hate different places; I just noted they lack proper equipment for prenatal massage. Samantha didn’t consider my preferences and placed three soaking wet towels on me, leaving water dripping down my back. No one dried it off, and the room's temperature made me want to leave mid-session. I spent quite a while warming up in the car afterward. Not a relaxing experience for a pregnant woman. I have a basic understanding of massage since I’ve been receiving them twice a month for the last 13 years and using them as therapy for my health.Meanwhile, the Mustard Seed's NE location has an amazing therapist who truly understands prenatal massage! I strongly advise against this place. It was a complete waste of 75 minutes of my life. I went for a prenatal massage, and it was shockingly poor in both technique and effectiveness. Out of the entire session, they spent 60 minutes on my neck. Anyone who’s been pregnant knows that the neck is far from the most critical area—especially when more problematic zones had been discussed in detail beforehand. Despite telling them I was unhappy with the service, they gave a half-hearted “sorry” and still charged me $164 plus tip. This is some of the worst service I’ve ever encountered. Save your money and go elsewhere! The procedure was done by Samantha.
So this place is just so amazing. Nahila has the hands of a goddess! I have gotten my fair share of massages and her knowledge of like pressure points and how to massage is VERY CLEAR. She was doing exactly what was needed. She’s amazing and honestly I wanted to propose to her by the end because that’s how much joy she brought me. Messaging is also transferable energy and you NAHILA are filled with the great energy and I’m so appreciative. I will definitely be back.
Wow!!! Just wow!!! One of the best massages that I’ve ever had! Dawn was an absolute artist in getting the kinks out of my old body. Will definitely be booking a massage next time I’m in DC.
Started our anniversary off at this place with a couples massage. Terrance & Juan (I think, sorry if I'm wrong) were their names and they were GREAT. Cute little spot. The room was such a relaxing vibe and smelled good. I'd definitely come back when I'm in DC again.
