I went to MovementX for help with a lingering shoulder issue. Ken spent time listening to my concerns, assessing my injury, and putting together a plan to get heathy. Each time I visited Ken he reassessed my injury and adjusted the plan to make sure we progress towards my goals. This is the best experience I've had with physical therapy. I highly recommend visiting MovementX.
Ken J is an amazing PT! His brilliant assessment and PT skills were so valuable when it came to recovery after my knee surgery and I’m so thankful that I had access to someone as educated as him because don’t think I’d be as far as I am now without his training. My doctor said I would never be able to squat at a 90 degree angle again but I am! He had me back up and weightlifting again! As a plus size person I was nervous about PT and feeling comfortable with the exercises I’d be asked to do. Ken’s kindness, encouragement and teaching skills made me feel confident in my body’s ability to complete the exercises needed for optimal recovery. Thanks so much Ken!!
I felt relief from the treatment that I received during the first visit that is why I am headed back today. Very professional and direct to the issue. I am not from this area and so grateful that I made the connection to a real problem solving apparatus available to the public. You rock!!! Keep up the good and well doing. Results that are positive and rewarding is what I found coming here. I spoke about it at the Capitol and shall continue that conversation in California. God Bless America and God Bless Movement X and Cesar Laboy!!!
Ken is absolutely the best Physical Therapist I have ever seen. He is beyond knowledgeable about the body and how it is all interconnected. I have never been to someone who can detect the areas of my body that need attention. He takes the time to explain why your body is doing what it is doing and how he is going to tackle the healing. I came to Ken with lower back pain, and after one session he was able to relieve the pain. I have never enjoyed dry needling before, but with Ken I was able to do it. I have the utmost trust in him and how he has managed my care and would highly recommend him!
I was about 8 years into my back pain journey, which included a surgery, when I met Ken. I'd been to countless PT's, pain management specialists, eastern medicine docs and more. Ken's patience, knowledge, inquisitive nature and enthusiasm for helping his patience are all major components of what made him the only person, including a well-known NYC spinal surgeon, who moved the needle and eventually solved my issue. I've yet to meet anyone who can match his desire for his patience to not only heal, but thrive. Best of luck to anyone not working with him. To those who are, we're an extremely lucky bunch.
I can’t say enough good things about Ken. Over the years, he has helped me recover from multiple injuries including running and CrossFit mishaps as well as training setbacks during triathlon and road biking prep. Most recently, I took a bad fall while running the day before a big bike hiking camping trip. I could barely walk and thought my whole trip was ruined. Ken got me in immediately, worked his magic, and by the next day, I was out there biking, hiking, and camping like nothing had happened. Beyond just recovery, Ken has also helped me identify muscle weaknesses and imbalances that were causing injuries over time. He has guided me in strengthening those areas so I can perform better and prevent future setbacks. What makes Ken stand out is his approach. If you have time, he will create a thoughtful, progressive plan. If you need a fast fix like I did, be ready because the session might be intense, but you will be back on your feet in record time. Ken doesn’t just treat injuries. He helps you stay active, strong, and ready for whatever comes next.
Ken Jenkins is an exceptionally knowledgeable and thorough physical therapist. He takes the time to listen carefully to his patients and creates treatment plans that lead to lasting results. Beyond his clinical expertise, he is genuinely kind and compassionate, which makes the healing process that much better. I am grateful for the care he provides and highly recommend him.
Ken Jenkins is an amazing physical therapist. His knowledge and expertise is outstanding. My daughter is a college athlete and Ken helped her get back on the field after hip surgery and knee surgery. When she was having issues with her knee, Ken was able to assess and diagnose her issue before her physician did. Ken is a wizard at dry needling. There is no one I would trust more than him.
I first started working with Ken because of a nagging shoulder injury. Not only did he guide me through a successful rehab, but he also helped me stay functional in the gym and continue progressing. Later, when I suffered a back injury that I thought might end my fitness journey, Ken’s expertise completely changed the outcome. His care not only jump-started my recovery but also restored my confidence in movement, strengthened other areas of my body, and ultimately made me a stronger, more well-rounded athlete. Ken is both knowledgeable and professional. What I value most is that he takes the time to explain what’s happening in my body, why a particular treatment or exercise is needed, and how it contributes to my progress. He’s thorough, diligent, and committed to his patients’ success. Week after week, the improvements I’ve seen under his care have been remarkable. I’m truly grateful to have had the opportunity to work with him.
I’ve been seeing physical therapists and receiving treatment for 15 years of my athletic and post-athletic career; however, Dr. Ken Jenkins is hands-down the most genuine, helpful, and important I’ve ever worked with. The progression I’ve experienced under his care is unlike any other coach or PT I’ve had previously, and he’s an even better person. If you want to get better, see progress, and enjoy your PT, work with Ken!
