Addendum to my prior review on 11/4/24; After expressing my concerns with the director, we discussed steps to move forward and she reassured me that’s not how MindFlower Group handles business. I appreciate how fast she got me on the phone to discuss the issues I was presented with. While I did conclude that I wouldn’t recommend this place, I feel confident that they are able to help assist patients with their needs. While my therapist was good at her job while we were in session, I expressed the need for a break because unraveling everything had become a lot to bear, on top of the conflicting schedules me and her were having. So I had missed a couple of sessions and when I tried to get in contact with company to restart because I was in need of counseling they told me their administration denied my request due to missed sessions. Prior to starting with them I was never informed that if you miss X amount of sessions that you won’t be able to be a client of theirs at all. Which I completely unprofessional especially when you’re dealing with people who have mental health issues. That’s basically turning them away which doesn’t reflect the mission statement of the company. It’s okay when their therapists have to cancel last minute and so forth but it’s not acceptable for clients to need to take a step back? I use to recommend this place all the time, now I will never recommend them.
