Heather was honestly one of the most uninviting therapists I’ve ever dealt with. From the start, the energy felt cold and awkward, like I was talking at someone instead of being supported. Therapy is supposed to feel like a safe space, but with her it felt tense and transactional. What really crossed the line was how she handled personal trauma. Instead of creating a sense of trust, it felt like she would use things I shared in a way that didn’t feel supportive or constructive. That’s the opposite of what therapy should be. Please also note that the review form Dr. Bonnie McIntyre is fake; a quick LinkedIn search shows she worked at Heathers' practice for over a year.
I had a pretty bad experience with Heather. Throughout our sessions, she would hardly speak or offer any feedback at all. Typically, once I would finish speaking, she would just kind of stare at me. Additionally, she would often make inappropriate remarks and make me feel uncomfortable. I found her to be very unrelatable and challenging to speak with. Notice how her only positive reviews are from colleagues and not actual people who rely on her care...
Heather and I have been professional colleagues for many years. I've always been impressed by her dedication and compassion to her clients. I am grateful that I can confidently refer people to her and her practice as I know they will receive expert and experienced care!
Professional clinical therapy services with clinicians who care. Highly recommend!
Lacks expertise and has a very awkward demeanor. Would look elsewhere!
