Very unprofessional, very poor communication, and canceled the appointment 3 minutes before it started after jumping through hoops and fit it in my schedule and waited around all day for it.

I just did the Daring Way workshop with Joseph LaFleur. It was one of the most valuable experiences of my life and provided tools that I plan to implement in my personal life and as a leader in my professional life. I recommend the workshop to anyone who wants to think more deeply about their personal interactions in all aspects of life and to develop the capacity to face challenges with confidence, self-compassion and empathy. The world needs more of this! The workshop is based on the research and writings of Brene Brown, and Joseph embodies the ideas and principles expressed in her work beautifully. Joseph is also incredibly compassionate and real. He walks the talk. That is rare and precious.

The Daring Way workshop was a raw, emotional and thoroughly rewarding experience. Joseph expertly guided us through a methodical process to address our personal relationships with shame. Moving towards a more vulnerable and authentic life is profoundly challenging, but Jospeh provided a safe environment with equal parts motivation and support. The workshop was well organized and crucially, there are skills that can be implemented immediately. Each session has homework and participants are challenged to use both sides of the brain; including the ever-popular coloring with crayons! The workshop is meant to be a solid starting point, and participants are given many tools to take home and begin integrating into their lives. I am very grateful for Joseph's professional and compassionate approach and I am confident that he has helped me to be a more confident, and empathetic man.

Joseph guided the Daring Way workshop with deftness and courage. He helped us create a powerful and safe learning environment, where transformation was possible. I witnessed my own strength, and that of others, bubbling to the surface and leading us back out into our lives with clearer purpose. My personal and professional life have benefited more from the Daring Way than from any other workshop. As a leadership development specialist, I'll let that truth speak for itself.

Joseph's counseling and workshops have been instrumental in helping me connect with my emotions and learn how they guide my behaviors, which in turn has clearly made me a stronger and more emotionally-balanced person in the last couple years. I feel far more defined inside (knowing my values, my strengths, my history) than I did before. One workshop was particularly helpful as it came at a critical time of interpersonal conflict in my life - it really helped me stand strong in the face of a particularly nasty onslaught from others who doubted my resolve. They might have been correct in their calculation about me had I not just experienced significant self-affirming growth in Joseph's Daring Way workshop.

The Daring Way workshop with Joseph as lead was an amazing opportunity to explore and 'test out' personal vulnerability around core issues, as well as witness and support others as they strove to be appropriately vulnerable. The core material, now synergized with group dynamics during the workshop (incredibly facilitated by Joseph) , seemed to create a unique experience from which I emerged somehow lighter, more powerful within, and comfortable with being 'true' about myself. Being seen and understood with others during the workshop made it real and concrete, in the moment, and not some prep for 'when I go back out into the real world'. I whole-heartedly recommend it to... all humans.
