Excellent professional, provides clear, comprehensive, and practical advice!
Carlos is wonderful! He understands his clients very well and provides grounded, well evidenced approaches. Additionally, he truly cares about your well being and gets to know you as a person. Throughout my sessions he not only helped me address the short term but he also provided me with techniques to help me continue to address my problems for the long term. Highly recommend him and his practice!
Dr. Durana is a comprehensive therapist. I felt welcomed and challenged at the same time, and I felt empowered in my healing journey. I've moved away from the area but I make an appointment whenever I am in town. I feel more connected to my body and I have tools to manage my childhood traumas on my own thanks to his insights. He is also very culturally competent and was able to help me break a cognitive block preventing me from speaking my native Spanish. That was truly life-changing on a personal and professional level.
I’ve been seeing Carlos for several years and it’s been very helpful throughout the years to hear his insights and to have him to process with.
Fantastic therapist. Several family members have used him and he’s helped a lot.
an excellent professional
Dr. Carlos Durana has helped me tremendously. I'm an Eastern European immigrant and my father was a holocaust survivor. My family of origin has undergone significant psychological trauma. Dr. Carlos helped me to develop psychological insight and practical mental skills to recover from that and become a healthier person. His holistic approach is profoundly therapeutic.
If I could give Dr. Durana 10 stars, I would! His mind body approach to mental health has been incredibly helpful in addressing some points about my life where I felt I needed to make a change. He is very attentive, understanding, and hands on in a great way - we always end up talking about exactly what I've wanted to address. He has been incredibly instrumental in helping me cope with anxiety, depression and relationship issues, which has allowed me to learn more about how to be more understanding both towards other people and myself in everyday situations. He is a true healer, I recommend seeing Dr. Durana!
I saw Carlos for almost a year, honestly he's the best therapist I have come across so far. He doesn't just ask me a question then follow my answer up with another question like most therapists do...he listens carefully to what I'm saying and offers amazing insights or suggestions, always feel like I leave his office with another tool to try out… another way to help me deal with my issues. I feel like he genuinely cares about me and my well being and always tries to make me feel like a priority in a very professional way. If you are looking for someone to help you, I highly recommend Dr Carlos Durana.
Dr. Durana is a skilled and compassionate therapist. Our work together has helped me transform past difficulties and attitudes into a present that is more secure and joyful.
