Conditions Sarah helps me treat: ADHD, eating disorder, major depression, anxiety, BPD, PTSD I have never had a therapist as active in my treatment as Sarah and I've been in therapy for more than half of my life. When we met, I already had a therapist, but I specifically came to Sarah looking for help with eating disorder symptoms. She asked me if I was comfortable with her talking to my dietician and psychiatrist; of course I said yes. She cared enough to consult with them outside of our sessions without me even asking. Soon after, my focus had to shift from my eating disorder to a life threatening depressive episode. I kept meeting with her because of the invaluable compassion, insight, and resources that she repeatedly brought into our sessions. I was suicidal for almost a year and we tried so, so many forms of treatment until my insurance put up a roadblock. Sarah and I agreed that TMS had promising potential to help me when nothing else had, but Colorado Medicaid doesn't cover TMS. I tried to find clinics that could offer me a payment plan I could afford, but I had no luck. Sarah was also helping me look until she found that Axis Integrated Mental Health would do my TMS pro bono. Axis also provided me with Spravato and a better psychiatrist. If Sarah hadn't gone out of her way to help me I don't know if I would've survived. Now that I'm in a safe and healthy place, we are making more progress than I have in a long time. She really gets me and asks amazing questions. Thank you for saving my life Sarah!
