I refer clients to Joel frequently. I consistently hear back from clients that he is a supportive and caring therapist. I sometimes wish he weren’t a colleague so he could be my own therapist. He’s amazing.
There's no question about it - Joel is an amazing therapist. He knows exactly how to listen, provide support, and offer guidance so you can find the healing and happiness you really want. I would give him way more than 5 stars if I could!
I highly recommend Joel Smith for counseling. His knowledge and experience and his empathetic tone is just what is needed to be a great therapist.
Joel has been caring, thoughtful, and professional. He’s so easy to talk to. And above all that, I feel happier and healthier. He has truly helped me. Thanks, Joel!
Joel is a great therapist, especially if you’re looking for someone who is empathetic, honest and very knowledgeable in his field. He helped me gain a better understanding of the things I was dealing with and provided me with new perspectives. Would highly recommend
Joel has been nothing but thoughtful in his ability to hold space and allow me to get things off my chest. I can't say one negative thing about his counseling skills. If you want to work with an experienced and caring counselor, Joel is it!
Joel is an exceptional therapist! His expertise in various therapeutic modalities, tailored approach, and brilliant communication skills are just some of the qualities that make him an extraordinary therapist. Anyone seeking professional therapeutic services would benefit from working with him.
joel is an amazingly empathetic therapist. i cannot recommend him enough to those who may be seeking recovery from trauma
Joel is a wonderful, amazing, caring, and extremely knowledgable therapist. I can't recommend him enough!
I am very disappointed how this all turned out. The bottom line is that he evaluated me (read questions off of a piece of paper) several times at $225 a session that I believe could have been handled in one session. It seemed to drag on for months nd we never got to have 1 session of EMDR...And then he blew off an appointment when we were supposed to start. It takes me an hour each way to get to his office. I was really disappointed and let down. I liked him. Very discouraged and let down.
