I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible guidance and support that Bethany Barta at Insight Counseling and Wellness Center has provided to our practice. As the Founder and Director of Insight, Bethany has assembled an amazing team of therapists who are dedicated to helping individuals find their inner strength and live wholeheartedly. Our practice has greatly benefited from Bethany's expertise in developing a comprehensive training and development program for new therapists. She is devoted to teaching and leading, and this commitment shows in the strength of the Insight team. Her belief that everyone has the answers inside them, and that they may just need assistance in working through life's challenges to access them, is a testament to her unwavering dedication to her clients and team members. It is with great confidence that I recommend Beth Barta and the entire Insight Counseling and Wellness Center team to anyone seeking guidance and support on their journey to self-discovery and healing.
Started out decent but once i switched to a new therapist (at their request,) things went downhill. The new therapist I was paired with didn't seem to care, always seemed distracted, and barely had any availability. I honestly felt worse after meeting with her and recommend you look elsewhere.
Beth Barta completely healed me with emdr. I went there broken and lost, and had results in just one session. I had never done emdr before, and I can’t recommend it enough if you've experienced trauma. It even healed old trauma that I wasnt even intending to address, that years of psychoanalysis couldnt fix. We also did talk therapy and somatic work that was amazing as well. You're in great hands here !!
Insight not only has provided me with wonderful therapists who take into account what styles and methods work best for me, but their administrative team has been my biggest advocates and by my side every step of the way as I navigate a wildly difficult insurance provider/ policy. Rachel has truly gone above and beyond to make sure I'm able to continue my therapy in an affordable manner. If you're looking for wonderful therapists and an equally as caring administrative team - this is the place!
My family and I believe this center has been the best fit for our needs and we are very grateful. From intake to actual sessions, everything has been easy to manage and the staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Working with Devon has been a gift in this wild year of uncertainty.
Beth Barta has created a wonderful healing space with her practice, Insight Counseling Center. The therapists here are highly trained, and the range of group offerings is amazing. Beth puts her heart into helping people find healing, peace, and empowerment, and this practice is a living example of her commitment to this. I highly recommend this group for therapy!
This place deserves 0 stars, not due to the therapists, but due to their lack of a functional billing system. Last month, I was informed that I owed money for sessions that were as early as February of this year. I guess no one decided to tell me that my insurance actually DID NOT cover my sessions until months later. Don’t go here unless you’re absolutely 100% certain that they take your insurance, otherwise they’ll probably tell you a year after your sessions that you owe them money. Do not trust these people.
Insight Counseling Center radically transformed my life. If you're reading this review on the internet it's probably because you're in a state of really needing help sifting through the chaos of life, and there's no better place to do that than Insight. Beth, who owns the practice, takes a very holistic approach to helping people. Through EMDR, inner child work, IFS, and other behavioral therapies she was able to help me overcome my panic attacks, deep depression, and process the loss of a parent. The guidance, community, and support I've received through the group therapy classes helped me grow in ways I would have never experienced if it weren't for happening upon Insight Counseling Center. I recommend this practice to every single person I know who is dealing with the heaviness of life and wants to understand themselves on a deeper level. The work is not easy but it is well worth it. I've been able to process so much pain and feel lighter every day because of it. Thank you Insight and Beth for helping me be the person I was always meant to be.
Great therapists, but the management of the business overall is lacking. My favorite therapist left the practice due to not being incentivized to stay with them (not sure if she was treated well enough?) I then switched to another therapist, and had an appointment in February. I did not get billed or charged for the session UNTIL 9 MONTHS LATER. I was then given a lame excuse that insurance takes a while to process, when I didn't even utilize my insurance, as my therapist was an intern at the time. Really, it came down to the fact that this it was simple oversight and negligence, and at that point, I believe services should not be charged for, especially without notice. I was under the impression that everything had already been squared away. They had my information, and they had my card to charge, there was NOTHING preventing them from collecting for those services. At a certain point, cutting losses due to negligence is a better policy to take than pissing off your current and past customers, and ruining any chances for a referral or return business because decide to you bill them for services 9 months after the appointment. RIDICULOUS.
