Carolyn Duhn is an exceptional therapist who provided invaluable support throughout my trauma recovery journey. She integrated trauma-informed approaches with a level of expertise that was outstanding. Carolyn is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and honest in her practice. Unlike many therapists who may inadvertently keep clients stuck, she was focused on helping me progress in my healing. She skillfully employed a range of techniques, including EMDR, Brainspotting, IFS, and others, with great care and proficiency. Most importantly, Carolyn possesses profound wisdom. While knowledge is essential, wisdom encompasses the discernment necessary to navigate unique and individual circumstances. I wholeheartedly recommend Carolyn to anyone seeking therapy in Colorado.

Carolyn isn’t like your idea of a typical talk therapist. If you need to talk, she can do that but if you need more, which most of us do you are in good hands. She is very intelligent - she understands the way that our bodies were made and how our experiences effect and connect and bring us to where we are. I did a set ofChristian EMDR sessions with her and experienced healing in a whole new fashion. Quick is kind of a taboo word when it comes to counseling but for me, her approach brought quick, thorough and effective healing. I was also very comfortable and felt like she really could empathize. Not ashamed to share my story.

Carolyn is an amazing therapist. She is insightful and intuitive. Therapy has scientific elements but when it come right down to the experience it is more of an art. Carolyn is able to help you feel seen and heard while still inviting you to go deeper into more healing. I've recently, also been impressed with her ability to educate me on what she is doing in therapy, which can be rather confusing especially when using brain-based trauma therapies. I highly recommend Carolyn!

Carolyn is a trusted colleague of mine. She is an expert in helping clients suffering from physical issues and trauma. She has a gentle, quiet nature that is backed by an impressive amount of expertise. If she wasn’t a colleague of mine, I wouldn’t hesitate to see her myself!

this therapist is young and inexperienced. I went to her quite a while ago and I am still quite upset about how she handled me and our sessions. She abruptly ended things because I smoked marajuana a couple times a week....Even though she practices in Denver,CO where it is a legal entity. She had no idea what to do when things were not perfect and a Christian issue. This therapist needs some help getting out of her bubble. If you have any real problems I would suggest going to someone more experienced or at least not living in a bubble. When she ended our sessions so abruptly she still made me pay for the session and did not help me set up continuing therapy with anyone else. She literally just deserted me and what I wanted to work on. A truly good therapist should want to help people that want to help themselves. In closing,I have had a great therapist before in my life...She is not one of them unless you want to go skin deep. She gives Christian therapists a bad name in my opinion.
