In 2018, I went into the emergency room for suicidality. I have a long history of trauma and was triggered. Dr. Dumas never met with me but still made the assumption that I had borderline personality disorder and sent me home. It was the worst mental health care I have ever received. I am in a much better place now and I am still shocked that happened to me. I am still scared of going to Denver Health emergency room for psych issues. Trauma and borderline have very similar symptoms. If she had talked to me, she could have given me the correct resources for trauma. I ended up having to find resources on my own.
