I recently finished my basic EMDR training with Cairn Counseling and had a positive experience. Prior to attending, I did my research through EMDRIA.org to find the right training for me. It was a two part training in person. The staff during the application process were very kind and responsive. I was very pleased with everything I learned from Barbara, and my discussions through each consultation/supervision group. I highly recommend doing this training if you are interested in continuing your therapy training and giving your clients the best tools for their individual healing.
I had such a pleasure taking EMDR basic training with Kelly. I valued the ease with which she conveys the material, the flexibility and creativity that she brings to this work (and has inspired in me as a clinician), and the specific ways in which she has designed the training to met needs for balance and growth. Thank you!
Our team had the opportunity to do EMDR basic training with Kelly at Cairn Counseling, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Kelly is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and an amazing teacher who creates a supportive and engaging learning environment. Our team left feeling confident in our skills and excited to integrate what we learned into our practice. I highly recommend Cairn Counseling for anyone looking for high-quality training and support!
Cairn is a great practice with lots of knowledgeable and empathetic therapists. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking trauma informed therapy!
I had a new-patient appointment scheduled with Hannah Brocious for three weeks and she decided to tell me less than 24 hours before the appointment that she is canceling, and all of a sudden she can't take on new clients. I have worked very hard to find someone, only to be screwed over last minute. It is so unprofessional and dangerous to act this way. People should be warned what kind of behavior is allowed at this company. *Update* There are two new 5 star reviews added the day after I posted this. It is obvious that those reviews are a conflict of interest from people associated with the company. I have reported then to Google. It goes to show how shady this place is.
Kelly and the Team at Cairn Counseling are top-notch! Their focus on evidence based treatments such as EMDR and DBT, and dedication to treating diverse populations is a gift to the community.
