There is a sleeping area with a warm blanket for you .A meal is provided, and bathroom items you need .You can also take a shower . I would highly recommend anyone who has a addiction or know anybody who has a addiction this is the place. The staff don't judge you. The staff dont talk about your sexuality. They don't talk about your race. The staff is here to help you with resources you need.

What stands out most about HSI is their commitment not only to treatment, but also to prevention. Their youth programs empower young people to build healthy relationships and live substance-free lives, setting them up for long-term success.

I contacted this organization’s HR department to report a concern involving an employee with whom I had a prior professional and personal connection. I was informed my report would be taken seriously. I sent a follow-up email a few weeks later, but I received no response. I left a voicemail thinking maybe my email had been overlooked. My call was returned, but during this call, I was informed that additional follow-ups could be interpreted as harassment and might result in legal action. It all felt very dismissive. While I understand organizations have procedures, the limited communication and caution I received about follow-ups left me concerned. I had expected more professionalism from HR. After posting my review, I later received a cease-and-desist letter by email. I had hoped for a more compassionate and professional outcome when sharing that I had experienced emotionally harmful behavior from one of their associates during a past relationship. Going through this made me understand why some people might hesitate to speak up about their experiences.

When I arrived Matthew greeted me and made me feel very comfortable. He reassured me that he sees hope in me as I go through my struggle. Matthew is a great asset to this cause. He's professional and kind. Your head lose him.

I can't speak highly enough about Tina Sentner and her team here. So glad to know that the San Jose community has an alternative to jail or the emergency department for people who have misused substances. Great peer support services and connections to resources!
