I fractured my fibula playing soccer and after I got my boot out, I was referred directly to the lab; and I can't recommend them enough. Every member of this staff is caring, talented, and know what they are doing. People with all sorts of injuries, ages, and fitness levels were treated with dignity, respect, and care during my months I spent getting back to my level of soccer. I've always been somebody who hates going to the doctor and dentist, I actually feared going to PT, but the professionalism of this team allayed this right away. Hopefully, I never have another injury, but if I do, I know where my first appt will be.
I have been to numerous physical therapy and chiropractors over the span of 4-5 years for chronic lower back pain and neck and trap tightness, the LAB is the best I’ve gone to by far. I have made the most progress by coming here and actually felt a reduction in pain for the first time. They take a very unique approach by not just incorporating exercise and stretching but including a thorough massage to really target the stiff and tense muscles. Each appointment is an hour so they really dedicate time to making you feel better. The whole staff is very friendly and personable it’s easy to schedule, they always pick up the phone or reply fast. They really help guide you through every exercise and help correct form. Marcus is awesome at targeting the back muscles.
I was skeptical after seeing so many 5-star reviews for The Lab Doctors, but I gave it shot and here I am giving it a 5-star review. I had an MRI on my shoulder and everything was wrong: torn labrum, frozen shoulder, tendonosis and impingement. To avoid surgery, I started coming here and John and the team did everything to grow strength to stabilize my shoulder through exercises, shoulder manipulation and stimulation. After a few should months I'm thrilled I won't be having shoulder surgery anytime soon. The team is truly amazing and focus on only one thing, addressing the problem to fix it.
I injured my shoulder snowboarding, and my doctor recommended that I find a physical therapist for follow-up treatment. I’m so glad I found this place! Everyone here is incredibly friendly and professional. Today might be my last session, and I’ve already recovered so much. Thank you all for helping me get back on track!
I have had chronic pain issues my whole life and started having to go to physical therapy for my issues as early as high school. I have been treated by at least a dozen physical therapy clinics. My experience with the LAB Doctors has been the best by far. I have a connective tissue disorder and I can’t go to just any physical therapists, as they need to have knowledge of hypermobility conditions. For me, having a physical therapist who knows how to treat bendy bodies is essential to my success and avoiding further, unnecessary injury. John and Michael are both personable, attentive, knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. They’ve adjusted my treatments as things have changed for me pain wise throughout our sessions and have been accommodating when it comes to my limitations and needs. Finding a physical therapy clinic that provides one-on-one care like they do is like finding a needle in a haystack. I have been to both the Beverly Hills and DTLA locations and the facilities are clean, well managed and meticulously organized. Ironically, for me, the most painful part of the physical therapy process is usually dealing with insurance, scheduling and billing but the LAB Doctors have been on top of those things. If you happen to be unfortunate enough to need physical therapy at some point, I couldn’t recommend these guys enough to help get you back into action.
Wonderful staff and knowledgeable therapists! I was introduced to this place by my husband, and I'm so glad to have found them! Everyone greets you by your name, checks in to see if you're feeling ok, and always lends an ear when you have any questions. Their excellent quality of care can be read from the other reviews, but for me, it's really the little things that count and add up to a memorable experience. I'll be continuing my care at their Beverly Hills location, and am sad to leave the DTLA team...but I thank everyone for the great experience, and I hope to see them whenever I'm back in the area! Cheers
I cannot say enough good things about The LAB Doctors of Physical Therapy. As an athlete, I have seen my fair share of physical therapists due to various injuries, but none have compared to the expertise and care provided by the team at The LAB. After injuring my knee, I was struggling to find a physical therapist who could truly understand my needs as an athlete. However, from my first appointment at The LAB, I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Mike took the time to thoroughly assess my injuries and create a personalized treatment plan that targeted my specific needs. Thanks to his guidance and support, I have seen significant improvement in my knee pain and overall athletic performance. If you are an athlete looking for a physical therapist who truly understands the demands of sports and is dedicated to helping you reach your full potential, look no further than The LAB Doctors of Physical Therapy. I cannot recommend them enough!
The LAB has been nothing short of great. During my initial phone call to book my physical therapy session, John was very polite and helpful. The entire staff was welcoming from the minute I stepped foot inside the building. Mike is my primary doctor and he has been attentive to every concern I’ve faced throughout my recovery. I would recommend the LAB to anyone needing physical therapy.
I've been coming here for over a year now, and my experience here has been nothing short of phenomenal. I came here for rehab on my dislocated shoulder, and I'm happy to say that coming here has brought it to basically a fully recovery. I've worked with both Michael and Art on it, and they have been both extremely friendly and extraordinarily knowledgeable in the PT space. The assistants that work here also match the knowledge and friendliness that the PTs exhibit. Overall I highly recommend coming to the LAB if you are looking for a 5 star PT experience with exceptional staff.
I needed to find a PT after having shoulder repair surgery and I honestly don't think I could have found a better place. I had some limited PT experiences in the past, and with this being a major injury, I wasn't really looking forward to it and was actually dreading the road to recovery. Not only was Dr Mike extremely knowledgeable and attentive, but his demeanor really made me look forward to every session. I always feel great after performing his prescribed exercises, and I appreciate how he explains the purpose of every one of them and why they're necessary. Aside from Dr Mike, everyone working there was very friendly and welcoming. The facility is very clean, organized, and equipped with everything you would need. My shoulder is now fully recovered which is amazing, but what's even better was the fact that I now feel capable of handling any future injury I might have. Dr Mike has instilled that confidence in me and really taught me how to properly move and care for my body, which is something I will always be grateful for.
