Working with Roger Kirtz was a game-changer for me as a professional rugby player. His expert guidance in mental preparation and resilience helped me sharpen my focus, stay composed under pressure, and consistently perform at a higher level. He created a space where I could honestly reflect on my mindset, overcome mental blocks, and build the mental toughness needed to compete at the top level. His strategies were practical, tailored to my needs, and made a real impact on my confidence and consistency on the pitch. I can confidently say that Roger’s support elevated both my game and my overall approach to performance.
Roger Kirtz is one of a kind. Not only a wise and knowledgeable person but also very relatable for anyone's situation. I am a classical musician and Roger helped me at a pivotal time in my development (highschool) when I needed to learn how to center myself and focus my mind on the right things to perform. He taught me an exercise that I still use to this day and works like a charm that involves breathing, journaling, reflecting, and intention. As of recent he taught me a new level of intention and reflection as I'm now going into my grad school years to acknowledge my ever day greatness. Anyone is in good hands with Mr. Roger Kirtz. He is one of the best!!
I'm really glad I found Roger. I was in a slump and going into competition expecting to lose, trying not to finish last. It's no way to race professionally, and I was not enjoying it. It affected my team, and they asked me to find a sports psych. Roger has a way of simplifying things in the realm of any sport, of challenging unhelpful ways of thinking, and he has helped me leap into the prospect of doing my sport full-time. It's what I've always dreamt of, but was too afraid to go against the grain of traditional career. I hope you'll have the chance to work with him yourself.
Roger Kirtz has greatly impacted my performance and mentality as an athlete. I'm a high school baseball player who has been working with Roger for a few months. I struggled with translating the skills I could routinely do in practice into games. He retrained my thinking and mentality through journaling, breathing, and visualizing. He helped me build pre-game routines and added intent to my practices. After working with Roger, my performance has improved dramatically, but not only that, I also feel more confident and in control. Thank you Roger!
Roger Kirtz has been tremendously helpful in helping me improve my performance in games and overcome mental challenges. I’m a 30 year old soccer player. I first contacted Roger because I was losing focus during matches and becoming distracted in high-pressure situations. Roger’s pre-match routines really helped me calm my mind and control my internal dialogues so I can be more alert and focused during my performance. Additionally, he has been very influential in helping me improve the way I train, both on a mental and a physical level. Roger’s extensive experience working with athletes and his background as a college tennis player and track runner, helped me recognize the mental challenges that prevent me from training at my highest capacity. He has also suggested more effective and efficient training methods that have allowed me to become stronger physically, and achieve a higher level of fitness.
Roger is an exceptional sports psychologist who revolutionized my game this past season. As a professional basketball player, I was struggling with shooting accuracy and confidence until my agent referred me to him. With his expertise, Roger introduced a new breathing routine and pre-game preparation that brought focus and composure to my performances. He also analyzed my free throw routine and shooting form, providing personalized guidance that refined my technique and bolstered my confidence. His meticulous attention to detail and expertise guided me towards success. I am immensely grateful for the transformative impact Roger has had on my career. Highly recommended for athletes seeking to unleash their full potential.
Roger was an extremely valuable resource. My 16 year old daughter was able to compete at an extremely high competitive level on both club and high school volleyball teams. She was struggling with her confidence and interest in playing competitive club and high school volleyball. After some sessions with Roger, I was able to see her confidence grow through her play as well as seeing her interest in volleyball grow. Roger has been very a very helpful asset in the process.
Roger has been a very special aspect in my life and I’m the way I play the game of basketball!! When I first played the game of basketball I really only wanted myself to do well and I only cared about the points I scored and not the team collectively. Once meeting with Roger I have totally switched my mindset and how I approach a game. Roger is someone who is very methodical in the way he thinks and the way he talks to you personally! I would 100 percent recommend him!! Very friendly and very awesome in all aspects!
As a D1 athlete who has professional aspirations, I have been very impressed with Roger’s approach to improving my mental game. He has helped me overcome the struggles that come with being a high-performing athlete, and has done so through accountability and candor. With Roger's guided coaching and mentorship, I feel more equipped with the mental skills necessary to be at my best on and off the field. He is a great person, and I hold him in the highest regard.
Roger is a great man and coach. Very personable and cares for his athletes. He goes above and beyond to make sure his clients are where they need to be. He knows what works and what doesn’t. He listens and is always open to try new things. Roger has a knack for bringing the best out of his athletes. He has unmatched skill, talent, and work ethic.
